Cockroach Control in Al Ain

Older villa kitchens and outdoor majlis areas in Al Ain attract American cockroaches from drains and gardens. We treat entry points, drainage and external perimeters to keep them outside where they belong.

Al Ain has two separate cockroach problems. The large American cockroach lives in drains, sewers and manholes and enters villas from below. The small German cockroach lives indoors, in the kitchens of apartment blocks in areas such as Al Khabisi and in the canteens and food stores of Al Sanaiya. Each needs a different treatment, so the first step is always to confirm which one you have.

The summer heat dries out the water seal in floor drains that are seldom used, such as guest bathrooms, majlis washrooms and staff quarters. Once that seal is gone, drain cockroaches can walk straight in. Homes left empty over the summer holidays are the most likely to be affected.

Before we arrive, run water into every floor drain and sink in the house, and note which rooms the cockroaches appear in. Clear the area around the outdoor kitchen and the bins. Call if cockroaches are coming out of drains, or if you find small ones in kitchen cupboards, since that means they are breeding indoors.
