Ant Control in Al Ain

With Al Ain's gardens, farms and oasis greenery, ants are a year-round issue — especially in Al Jimi and Falaj Hazzaa. Our perimeter treatment keeps colonies out of the home.

Many ant colonies in Al Ain gardens are fed by other insects. Ants tend aphids, mealybugs and scale insects on citrus, ornamental shrubs and young palms for the sweet honeydew they produce, so sticky leaves or black mould on a plant often mark a nest nearby. Treating the house without looking at the planting leaves that food supply in place.

In the summer heat, many outdoor ants forage in the evening and at night, so a garden that looks quiet at midday can be busy after sunset. They nest in the sand under interlock paving, along kerbs and in the cool soil beside irrigation lines. In districts such as Al Muwaiji and Al Towayya, where mature trees line the streets, colonies can also come in from beyond the boundary wall.

Before the visit, check at dusk where the trails lead, and tell us about fruit trees or plants with sticky leaves. Clear dates and sweets from outdoor majlis tables. Call if you see winged ants indoors or sand appearing between floor tiles, as both point to a nest inside the building.
