What does a move-in deep clean include?

Is a move-out clean different?
The checklist is much the same. The goal is to hand the property back in good condition for the landlord's or agent's inspection. Pay extra attention to the places they tend to check: inside the oven and hood, limescale in bathrooms, marks on walls and skirting, inside wardrobes and the balcony.
What you must do before handover depends on your tenancy contract, so read it first. A professional clean won't fix damage, but it removes the grime that often gets flagged.
When should I book it?
For a move-in, book it after any painting or repairs are finished and before your furniture arrives. If there's been renovation work, you may need a post-construction clean instead, which removes paint, cement and grout haze. For a move-out, book it after the movers have taken everything, ideally a day or two before the handover.
